There are times when you need someone to listen, to be present, to be an advocate. It is the Congregational Care Ministry’s mission to provide care and support to families and individuals in a personal and compassionate way and to provide an atmosphere and opportunity to sense God’s presence and provision.
Grief Support Group
For those grieving the loss of a loved one or other significant loss in their lives to understand and overcome during this necessary process. Open to the community.
Cancer Support Group
Provides emotional support, prayer education and resources for those with cancer, their family and caregivers. Cancer survivors are encouraged to join the group. Open to the community.
Medical Care Assistance Team
Health care professionals are available during worship and major church events to provide care during medical episodes. See an Usher.
Deacon Family Ministry
The first point of contact for NFCC families who have an expressed need and unsure of who to turn to. The Deacons are the representatives of the Pastor for general care during a crisis event such as illness, bereavement, financial assistance, family issues, etc.
Caring Touch Ministry
Assists the Deacon Family Ministry with hospital visitation and home visits during an illness. Provide support to those who have lost loved ones. NFCC Ministers are also available for prayer and hospital visitation.
Counselors who provide guidance, support and help to discover solutions and hope during life's challenges according to the Word of God. Lay Counselor are not licensed therapist, but can refer as needed.
