Membership is a privilege
Membership in any church or organization is a privilege, not a right. We take membership very seriously at Nations Ford Community Church because it suggests that you have made a conscious decision to join us in the journey of faith and in the pursuit to fulfill the vision and mission that God has given to us as our assignment.
Membership is like a marriage
To be a member of a local church means much more than simply signing on the dotted line and having your name placed on the roll. It is a mutual commitment to unity, oneness of purpose, and the fulfillment of Jesus’ great commission to make disciples.
How does one become a member of Nations Ford Community Church?
1. First, each person desiring to be a member of NFCC, must have made a public profession of faith, receiving and declaring that Jesus Christ is their personal Lord and Savior.
2. Second, each person desiring to be a member of NFCC, must complete the New Members Orientation Sessions designed to help them understand the mission, vision, values and expectations of the church. This also gives individuals the opportunity to learn what benefits they have as members and how, together, we can make a positive difference for the glory of God.
3. Third, each person desiring to be a member of NFCC, must have been or be baptized by immersion, following the Biblical pattern established by Jesus Himself in Mark 1:9-11.
4. Fourth, each person desiring to be a member of NFCC, is encouraged to get connected in a small group for study; a ministry for service; a missions outreach project for extending the love of Christ to the poor.
5. Fifth, each person desiring to be a member of NFCC, is encouraged give financially according to the Biblical standard of tithing, Malachi 3:8-12.
