The Christian faith journey is meant to be enjoyed and bring fulfillment of purpose. What the New Testament teaches us is that we do not find that enjoyment and fulfillment trying to travel our faith journey alone!

The New Testament Church is our model for how we get connected to one another and fulfill our personal and collective destinies in a caring, supportive community.

In Acts 2:42-43 we are told that “All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.  All believers met together in one place… They worshipped together…met in homes for the Lord’s Supper and shared their meals with great joy and generosity…”  

In Acts 4:32 we are told, “All the believers were united in heart and mind.”  The Apostle Paul teaches us in 1 Corinthians 12 that we are one body joined together for mutual support and collective growth. So being connected to Christ is the beginning of your journey. Staying connected to His Body (the Church) is vital to the fulfillment of your purpose. 

How do you get connected?  At Nations Ford Community Church getting connected is as easy as this:

1. Enroll in a Life Enrichment Group/Class on Sunday mornings.

2. Volunteer for one of the various ministries that serve in the church. This is your opportunity to use your spiritual gifts and natural talents for the glory of God.

3. Commit to one of the many missions projects that take place outside the church, in the city where we occupy for the glory of God.

4. If a ministry does not exist already and you desire to start that ministry, simply let us know and we will work with you to design your proposal.
