Dr. Phillip and Pastor Cynthia Davis are natives of Cincinnati, Ohio and have been married since 1973. Since their call into the ministry in 1979, the Davis' have been serving the Body of Christ and advancing the Kingdom of God through the practical preaching and anointed teaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.  

Dr. Phillip Davis is committed to advancing the Kingdom of God through evangelism and church planting. He and Pastor Cynthia Davis have expanded their impact through the planting of several churches in Charlotte, NC, Rock Hill, SC and Alpharetta, GA.  

They are a dynamic team, with a vision to equipping and encouraging leaders both in the church and in the marketplace.  The Davis' are known as "Pastors to Pastors," as they have ministered to pastors and spouses, as well as, to married couples across the United States and abroad.  

In 1982, the Davis' founded the Galilean Baptist Church in inner city Charlotte, NC with 7 members. After six years of service the church had grown to over 250 members. God gave Dr. Phillip Davis the vision for a new congregation, designed to reach more people for Jesus Christ. In 1988 that vision became a reality with the founding of the Nations Ford Community Church. In January 1988, the first worship celebration of Nations Ford Community Church was held with 11 members.

Nations Ford Community Church has grown over the years under the practical preaching and teaching of Dr. Phillip Davis and the capable administration and leadership of Pastor Cynthia Davis.   

Their passion for advancing the Kingdom of God has lead Dr. and Pastor Davis to help sponsor and support over 20 new church starts through the years. These have been churches of various ethnic groups including Anglo, Asian, Hispanic, Hindu, African and African-American.
